Lundgren, Ulf P.

(b. 1942, Värmland, Sweden). Ph.D., Licentiate, M.A. Social Sciences, University of Göteborg, Sweden.

Lundgren is Professor and Head of the Research Unit for Studies in Educational Policy and Educational Philosophy, Uppsala University, and Director of the Education Policy Institute, which focuses on the politics of education, educational policy making, and the governing of educational systems. He also held faculty appointments at the University Centre of Aalborg, Denmark, and Stockholm Institute of Education (where he was also the Vice Chancellor), and he was Director General of the National Agency for Education in Sweden.
