International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE)

The International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE) is a loose coalition of regional and national evaluation organizations from around the world. The IOCE seeks to legitimate and strengthen evaluation societies and associations by promoting the systematic use of evaluation in civil society. It builds evaluation capacity, develops principles and procedures in evaluation, encourages the development of new societies and associations, procures resources for cooperative activity, and is a forum for the exchange of good practice and theory in evaluation. The IOCE inaugural assembly was held in Lima, Peru, in March 2003.
