The Evaluators' Institute™ was formed in 1995 to provide short professional development courses on evaluation topics and, more recently, to offer certificates in evaluation practice. The Institute's goals are to (a) enhance the capabilities of practicing evaluators and others responsible for and using evaluation results; (b) increase the implementation and use of methodologically defensible evaluations; (c) advance the evaluation profession; and (d) implement events that are seen as relevant, of high quality, and of great utility to participants. Nationally and internationally recognized scholars in evaluation helped conceive the Institute and, each year, assist with course planning and implementation. Institute courses are endorsed by the American Evaluation Association.
