Dahler-Larsen, Peter

(b. 1961, Nørre Lyndelse, Denmark). Ph.D. Organizational Studies, M.A. Social Science, M.A. Economics, Odense University (now the University of Southern Denmark).

Dahler-Larsen is Professor, Department of Political Science and Public Management, University of Southern Denmark. He has been a visiting scholar at the Center for Organizational Research at Stanford University and, for 10 years, an evaluation consultant to various international organizations. He currently serves as a board member of the European Evaluation Society.

His primary contribution to the field of evaluation has been in terms of studying evaluation as a cultural and institutional phenomenon, exploring how evaluation is shaped by modern organizations and how evaluative thinking affects cultural practices.
