Military Officers Association of America

The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is an association of military officers from the seven uniformed services of the United States. The seven services are (1) the Army, (2) the Navy, (3) the Marine Corps, (4) the Air Force, (5) the Coast Guard, (6) the Public Health Service, and (7) the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Membership is open to all those who hold or have ever held a warrant or commission in any component of the seven uniformed services and their surviving spouses. The association is an independent, nonprofit, and politically nonpartisan organization. This entry describes the mission, structure, and activities of MOAA.
