Tactics, Ground Forces

Ground forces tactics describes the application of a combination of combat elements to defeat an enemy in a battle or in a nonlethal action, such as a small-scale peacekeeping contingency. In ground forces tactics, certain methods are employed to achieve a specific objective. Tactics are used to create an advantage over the enemy and allow the resulting success to be exploited, thereby gaining a decisive victory. Ground forces tactics focus on the technical application of military action and consist of those techniques and procedures used for accomplishing specific tasks within a tactical action.
