Science Applications International

SAIC (formerly the Science Applications International Corporation) was founded as a private company in 1969 by J. Robert Beyster and a small group of scientists in La Jolla, California. It offers a wide range of products and services in several industries, including national security, geospatial, cyber security, infrastructure, energy and environment, and health. The company went public in 2006. It has approximately 45,000 employees and averages more than $10 billion in revenue annually.
