Reserve, Air Force

The Air Force Reserve is component of the U.S. Air Force, along with the Regular Air Force and the Air National Guard. Together, the Air Force Reserve and the Air National Guard constitute the reserve components of the air force. The differences between the two reserve components are slight, mainly in that members of the Air National Guard have an additional liability for service under state authorities, whereas members of the Air Force Reserve do not.
