Salary Schedule

It is now well established that teachers have a greater impact on student outcomes than any other school-based factor. Teachers also have the greatest impact on school district budgets, with their compensation constituting, on average, about 55% of annual expenditures. As a result, teacher pay, especially with regard to how it is determined and structured, is viewed as having important implications for educational costs and productivity.
