Association for Education Finance and Policy

The Association for Education Finance and Policy (AEFP) is a professional organization of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners engaged in producing and utilizing research on educational policy and finance. The association was founded in 1975 and was incorporated under the name American Education Finance Association. Its current new name was adopted in 2010. The purpose of the association is to provide a forum for discussion and debate on educational policy and practice regarding the use and distribution of resources for learning. According to the bylaws, key functions of the association are to promote research and development, to encourage and support experimentation and reform, and to ensure that the field of educational finance remains responsive to policymakers’ concerns and the emerging needs of educational institutions and practitioners. ...
