Drug Crimes, Community Policing Strategies for

While law enforcement plays an important and leading role in any community’s attempt to control drug crime, addressing the causes and conditions that lead to drug crime requires a multifaceted approach that works to interrupt supply as well as demand. The community policing principles of problem solving and multidisciplinary collaboration are well suited to addressing both.
