China, Multicultural Education in
The theory of multicultural education introduced by James A. Banks is an idea, an educational reform movement, and a process. It upholds the idea that all students, regardless of their sex, social class, race, or cultural differences, are entitled to equal educational opportunities. Multicultural education in China may be best exemplified by the country's ethnic minority education, which is the main focus of this entry.
