Hypertext

Hypertext is a collection of text segments that can be connected via links to other segments. It allows the presentation of information in a complex manner compared to the traditional printed medium. Hypertext is the fundamental unit of the World Wide Web, but can also be used without the Web. Hypertext has also been touted as a great learning tool, having the flexibility to provide information to students and showcase the complexity of real-life information.
