Keep, Judith N. (1944-)
Born in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1944, Judith N. Keep moved to California to attend Scripps College in Claremont. After graduating with her B.A. in 1966, she studied law at the University of San Diego School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 1970. That same year she served briefly as a law clerk for Westgate-California Inc. before taking a position as an attorney with Defenders Inc. in San Diego, California. She remained in San Diego to open her private practice there in 1973, where she stayed for 3 years.
