Lady Gaga

Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta on March 28, 1986, Lady Gaga has developed into an exuberant performer known for her lyrics, performances, videos, fashion, and sexuality. Her outrageous outfits and shocking performances often stir controversy, but Gaga hopes to be remembered as an icon and activist, primarily for women and for the gay community.

Gaga's debut album, The Fame (with songs like “Love Game,” “Poker Face,” and “Just Dance”), found international success. Her second album, The Fame Monster (which includes the hits “Bad Romance,” “Telephone,” and “Alejandro”), brought more fame. In her short career to date, Gaga has already sold over 15,000,000 records.
