Strategic Human Resource Development
Strategic human resource development (SHRD) involves developing human capital in organizations that include learning, both individual and organizational. Human resource development is also linked with broader human resource concepts like job design, compensation, performance management, and selection and staffing. It can also be defined in terms of three areas: (1) training and development, (2) career development, and (3) organizational development, all of which are closely related to other human resource functions and activities.
