Service Systems
A system is formed from components that coordinate with each other to achieve a specific aim. The components of a system include inputs, transformation process, outputs, and feedback. Systems can have many subsystems and can also be subsystems of even larger systems. Subsystems can affect one another, and all systems exist within an environment of other systems. The extent of a particular system is related to the aim of the system. The components of a system are evaluated according to their interactions with one another, and a system reflects more as a whole than the sum of its components.
