Veterans
This entry examines how veterans have accessed online educational institutions, and the various programs that these institutions have created to serve the veterans in their student bodies. The federal government defines the term veteran as anyone who has been an active duty member of a military organization. The criteria for veteran status are straightforward and simple: a male or female formerly on active duty and must have been honorably discharged. Veteran status does not depend on a certain number of years on active duty or participation in armed conflict.
