Nearly 18 million Americans voted for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic Primary elections. Sixteen of the current U.S. senators are women. Some glass ceilings are being broken, but at the same time, there were only 12 female CEOs of Fortune 500 companies in 2007. After three waves of feminism of the course of more than a century, where do women stand in today's world?
