  • The final step in the judicial process. To adjudicate a dispute is to examine and resolve the case through judicial procedure and due process of law. A legal argument that has been heard and settled has been adjudicated. In an adversarial system of justice, two sides argue their case before a neutral party, usually a jury or judge, who renders a decision.
