  • In education, this term refers to scholarship and practices related to the creation and development of effective teams, often in work-related contexts. Team-building scholars seek to better understand small-group dynamics in terms of successful collaboration and the efficient fulfillment of objectives. In addition, scholars investigate methods for group assessment that involve both the group members themselves and external parties.
