Self-Actualization (Education)
The neurologist Kurt Goldstein first defined self-actualization as the primary motive of organisms to realize their unique innate potential. Abraham Maslow later described self-actualization as the pinnacle of psychological development, placed at the top of his hierarchy of needs. Maslow described self-actualized people as self-accepting, problem solvers, spontaneous, and reality oriented.
