  • The act of a sender receiving a response (that contains information) from a receiver. This information is characterized as being helpful to the sender and often provides evaluation in response to information that was transmitted by the sender. Positive feedback can be in the form of encouraging advice to aid in the sender's reformulation of the information to that receiver or others. It can also be an affirmation about the sender and/or the information, which can then influence the sender's personal attitude.
