Political Media
A term that to some degree encompasses all media. If one accepts the premise that all expression is in some sense political, then all media are to some degree political media. The media are involved in the political life of the modern world not only insofar as they report factually on political events but also as they represent politics in fictionalized portrayals, as in movies such as Dave and Primary Colors. In our time, media interests also use extensive lobbying efforts and contribute heavily to political campaigns to achieve their legislative and regulatory goals.
