Geographical Race
A biological term referring to any population that differs genetically from any other population of the species. Developed as a way to retain the use of “race” as based on continental location, the term is a misnomer since every population of every species differs somewhat from other populations. Today, race is generally recognized as a socially constructed, not a biological, concept.
