    Population: 56,000 (2018E—World Bank); 53,094 (2018E—U.S. Census).

    Major Urban Center (2017E—UN): BASSETERRE (12,920).

    Official Language: English.

    Monetary Unit: East Caribbean Dollar (market rate August 1, 2018: 2.70 dollars = $1US).

    Sovereign: Queen ELIZABETH II.
