    Note: In presidential elections on February 3, 2019, Nayib Bukele of the center-right Grand Alliance for National Unity became the first candidate elected outside of the country's two main political parties since 1984. Bukele won 53 percent of the vote and was scheduled to be inaugurated on June 1.
