    Population: 971,000 (2018E—World Bank); 884,017 (2018E—U.S. Census).

    Major Urban Center (2015E): DJIBOUTI (529,000).

    Official Languages: French and Arabic.

    Monetary Unit: Djiboutian Franc (official rate October 19, 2018: 177.71 francs = $1US).
