Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein (1933–) is a Democratic U.S. senator, representing the state of California starting in 1992. Prior to obtaining that position, she was active in politics as a Democrat both in California and in San Francisco city government. She has typically been viewed as a moderate Democrat.
Feinstein was born in San Francisco, California, on June 22, 1933.
