    Dr Mlenga Jere is an associate professor of marketing and the academic director of the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. His research interests include marketing communication strategies in emerging markets, consumer decision-making amongst low-income and subsistence consumers, and informal and small business trade.

    Warren Gatcke is a medical doctor with an interest in social innovation and entrepreneurship. He earned his MBA with distinction from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business in 2016. Warren believes that it is possible to profoundly challenge the status quo, and is interested in finding solutions to complex challenges through design thinking and business model innovation.
