    Stephen M. Rapier is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management, teaching at the graduate school since 2008. As a practitioner, he has over 25 years of executive experience on both the agency and client side. He has provided strategic insight relative to brand and marketing strategy, advertising, public relations, and market research to a range of organizations, including 3M Unitek, Burson Marsteller (Universal Studios), IndyMac Federal Bank, Power Lift (Caterpillar Lift Trucks), Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary, and Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. His academic experience includes lecturing at California State University, Long Beach, California State University, Los Angeles, California State University San Bernardino, Claremont Graduate University, and the University of Southern California. Dr. Rapier received his Executive MBA and PhD from Claremont Graduate University.

    Doreen E. Shanahan is a Lecturer of Marketing at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management, teaching at the graduate school since 2002. She also founded and serves as the director of the business school's client-based experiential learning program entitled E2B. In this role Professor Shanahan has written over 200 E2B business cases. A former Vice President with The Coca-Cola Company, her career spans 30 years working in a range of industries including consumer products, publishing, industrial products, healthcare services, and advertising. Her current research and consulting efforts are focused on evolving and harnessing an organization's orientation toward marketing and innovation to lead growth. Professor Shanahan received her MBA from Pepperdine University.
