Abstract

Founded in March 2012, Tink Labs is best known for its flagship “handy” smartphone provided free by its partner hotels to their guests. Beyond a phone, handy is designed as a single touchpoint to enhance guest experiences. After obtaining USD 160 million in financing from online lending platform operator WeLab in January 2016, Tink Labs further raised a whopping USD 125 million in funding, which fueled its global expansion through optimization of its technology and partner networks.
