    Dr. Nicolas Pologeorgis holds a full-time faculty position at a university in the Washington D.C. area, heading the Financial Planning concentration at both the undergraduate and graduate levels with primary responsibilities being the Programs' continuous development, maintenance and teaching of the Financial Planning courses as well as courses in Business Administration, Economics and Finance, serving as a student academic advisor and mentor to business majors, conducting research individually and/or collaboratively with other faculty members of the academic community and serving in various academic committees. Prior to embarking on an academic career over 20 years ago, Dr. Pologeorgis worked for 12 years in the Financial Services Industry providing Financial Planning, Business and Financial Consulting, and pertinent financial products, services, and investment vehicles to serve client needs.

    Dr. Pologeorgis is also the Founder and Lead Consultant at the Center for Assessment, Evaluation, Education and Research and is responsible for the overall operation of the Center, providing the vision and leadership to fulfill the Center's mission. Having had a long career in Higher Education with expertise in Academic Quality, Academic Leadership, Assessment, Evaluation, Accreditation and Research, he is a sought after consultant and presenter whose professional interests include the future of and changes in higher education, effective student life-long learning, institutional accountability and the implications of globalization, technology and multiculturalism. Dr. Pologeorgis is published and annually presents at national conferences on topics such as academic assessment, accounting, business, economics, education, finance and financial planning (institutional, degree/program, course and student), accreditation, faculty development, and adult learning.
