‘I Know How You Feel’
This three-session module builds on the previous module ‘I Can Express How I Feel’. It gives children the opportunity to think about the feelings of others. It encourages them to experience the feelings involved in certain situations and by people other than themselves. They are given the chance to discover that we often react similarly to certain situations. Finally, from the basis of that knowledge, they are encouraged to respond in an appropriate manner to that which others are experiencing, so showing empathy for that person. Within this module games are included which are designed to continue building the co-operative skills of drama without having direct connection with the subject matter.
