Module One: ‘I Can Express What I Feel’
The aims of this three-session module are twofold. First, the module introduces the children to drama as a route to developing social skills. The children play a range of games that engage them in skills of collaboration and affirmation as well as requiring them to trust each other. The second aim is to give pupils the opportunity to explore their feelings. They will consider how many different feelings we have, and how quickly feelings can change. Over the course of the sessions they will develop and extend their emotional vocabulary. They will also begin to consider situations that trigger particular emotional reactions.[Page 2]
