In this part we focus on some of the ways in which young people take risks and distinguish between risk taking and being at risk. We know, however, that students and newly qualified teachers ask for support in these aspects of PSHE education in particular. We are not able to include chapters on every element within PSHE education, but the advice we provide here is transferable to almost any topic. This does not mean that PSHE education should always be broken down into separate topics – far from it.
