Using Story, Case Studies and Timeline in PSHE Education
We encourage the use of ‘Timelines’ to explore stories and case studies. They are a way of relating what is happening in the present to what happened in the past and might or probably will happen in the future. Look for stories where characters are facing challenging decisions and think about these as ‘the present’: perhaps it is a ‘crunch moment’ – the moment when they need all their skills, beliefs about themselves and knowledge because a difficult decision has to be made and actioned.
