22.1 The Instrument and its Administration
The Guessing Test instrument is intended to help respondents gain an insight into their level of fear of failure, which is a dimension of the achievement motive. This is to be used primarily as a training instrument. Its administration is simple. The instrument consists of 15 pairs of statements, and the respondent is required to choose one item from each pair.
