8.1 The Instrument and its Administration
This instrument will help in assessing the level of interpersonal trust in an organisation. Interpersonal Trust Scale (IPTS) can be administered in a group. The respondents should be told that the instrument is meant to help them get to know certain aspects of their own organisation. There is no right or wrong answer. The scores can be discussed to show the level of interpersonal trust.
8.2 Conceptual Framework
IPTS measures trust in four aspects: communication, openness, professional support (concern) and competency.
