7.1 The Instrument and its Administration
Androgyny Scale is meant to measure the respondent's level of androgynous orientation. It can also be used to measure stereotype of the two genders by the respondents.
The scale contains 20 pairs. The respondent is required to distribute 4 marks between two items of each pair. He is required to do it twice, once to indicate how the person actually feels (Actual) and the other how much he would like to have (Desired).
