70.1 The Instrument and its Administration
The instrument measures effectiveness of an important leadership function of boundary management which strengthens the organisation's interface with external system. It contains seven boundary management functions to be rated by the respondents on a 5-point scale.

70.3 Scoring
The ratings given on each function are added to give the boundary management effectiveness score. It ranges from 7 to 35.
