61.1 The Instrument and its Administration
Senior Management Functions Schedule (SMFS) is designed to find out which transactional and transformational functions are being given priority by senior managers in an organisation. The instrument is meant for the top leaders.
SMFS consists of a list of 14 functions (7 are transactional and 7 are transformational). The respondent is required to indicate the priority of his attention/time to different functions by distributing 100 points among the 14 listed functions. SMFS is appended.
