Community Health Service: Now and in the Future
The U.S. health care delivery system encountered drastic changes toward the end of the 20th century. What the system will look like in the 21st century is still uncertain. Community health services will have an important role in shaping and providing services in this system. Community settings will be the site for the delivery of many health services, but services provided may not be under the umbrella of community or public health.
