Evaluating Theory-Based Interventions Using Evidence Tables
The original purpose for this chapter was to summarize a project with the aims of (a) identifying all systematically tested theory-based nursing interventions and (b) assessing the quality of intervention testing data using evidence tables. In the process of conducting the literature search to identify the theory-based interventions, it became clear that the project was not going to progress as planned. As is often the case in a well-planned study, one problem changes the project's parameters. The first of many changes was in the purpose of this chapter.
