These lines by Robert Frost may well describe the educational adventure of developing nursing programs, instructing students, and acquiring resources. Although multiple directions and options now exist in education, the beginning for nursing education lies in its basic programs. Thus, in introducing Part II, it is appropriate to provide an example of the content of such programs, as addressed by the authors of the various chapters.
