What do the study of the media, ICT and drama have in common? Arguably, all three areas, when studied as an element of English, address important issues regarding meaning and are concerned with the way we make, interpret and communicate meanings. Consequently, ICT is not so much about information as interpretation; drama is more concerned with purpose than performance; and the media are above all about making and exchanging meanings.
