Maureen A. Pirog taught in the Finance Department of the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania before joining the faculty in the School of Public and Environment Affairs at IU in 1983, where she is the Rudy Professor of Policy Analysis. She is the founder and director of the IU Institute for Family and Social Responsibility, a multidisciplinary, multicampus institute that provides research expertise and technical assistance to state and national social service organizations. Dr. Pirog also has an affiliated appointment as a Professor at the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. She is the editor in chief of the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, the top ranked journal in the field of public administration. Professor Pirog is an expert in the methodology of policy analysis and her research focuses on a broad range of social policy issues. She received a BA and an MA in economics from Boston College in 1975 and a PhD in public policy analysis from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981.
Emily M. Good is a practicing therapist in Bloomington, Indiana, working with children, adolescents, and families. She received a BA in psychology from Indiana University (IU) in 2008 and an MS in counseling psychology from IU in 2012.
