Taking a stand: The moral dilemma

Standard 5 sums up all the other standards. If we are appropriately and prudently researching, analyzing, synthesizing, soliciting, advocating, nurturing, and sustaining everything that relates to school leadership, then we are doing those things. In so doing, we would be promoting the success of all students by acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner. The problem is that not everyone is doing everything they should, which explains why we need Standard 5.
