This book aims to support pre-registration mental health nursing students to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) competencies in physical healthcare, including nursing practice and decision making, nutrition and fluid management, care, compassion and communication and medicines management from a recovery model perspective. It aims to prepare the student for a formative and summative assessment for entry into the register as a mental health nurse.
