Oxford is famous for its beauty, atmosphere and, of course, the knowledge and learning it imparts. It is unlike any other city in the world. Its uniqueness lies in its mellow beauty and architectural elegance, crowned by the glory of the ancient colleges. The ambience of Oxford, I decided, was infectious for students. You get hooked on to the city. With a family legacy comprising of an education in the Oxbridge tradition, I was keen to spend some time there, and I was pleased when I got admitted into the Oxford Polytechnic, which is now known as Brookes University. I might not have been in one of the famous ancient colleges, but I was in OXFORD.
